Our Story
This program started back in 2018 in WA state when I was approached by a mom of a little boy who had a dream to play Joseph in the Nativity play. “He was never given that opportunity because he has Down syndrome" his mom told me. I knew there had to be other kids who wanted that same chance to be on stage to let their limitations fade and abilities sparkle.
Now for the first time here in Idaho, this Christmas "Special Stars" lights up at the Cloverdale Seventh-day Adventist Church in Boise!
It's a special event where children with disabilities shine on stage, celebrating their unique talents in a festive showcase.
Let's applaud the abilities and dreams of every child at "Special Stars"—a Christmas celebration of possibility and joy.
